
BAKERS’ NEW ERA IS HERE!
Following 20-year anniversary celebrations, Bakers reveal exciting new era with the official launch of the all-new company brand; ‘Bakers Environmental Solutions’. Modernised and ready to create an environmental legacy for future generations.

The new logo, lauded as a “modern refresh”, harks back to the Bakers logo that has been with us for seventeen of our twenty-year history and features a series of circular economy inspired symbols – the circular swoosh has remained consistent with our values and vision since the original logo launched in 2005.
For the first time in Bakers’ history, we are proud to be disposing of the word “waste”. Representing change in mindset; no longer viewing the materials we collect as waste, but instead an opportunity to work with our customers to transform their materials into resources. By working together, we can move toward a sustainable economy – eliminating waste and pollution, creating new reusable products, and revitalising our natural world.

Bakers are a leading environmental business, home to over 5,000 customers both regionally and nationally, over 120 employees of which three are in the Bakers family.
Today, the team aspires to continue the Bakers story, with the next chapter focussing on how we can support our clients to reduce their environmental impact and achieve their sustainable development goals.
This process has already begun, demonstrated by a multitude of on-going investments; new jobs, training and development for existing members of staff, internal systems, installation of a state-of-the-art cardboard baler and plastic granulator at our recycling facilities, and making our ‘Race to Zero’ pledge – to become net zero by 2050.
With long-term plans to develop our ‘environmental solutions’ beginning to come to fruition, everybody at Bakers is excited to offer our clients consultancy services whereby a team of environmental experts can support your business’ sustainability, profitability, and efficiency.
Over the next three months our marketing and service team will be working together to implement a complete makeover to our head offices, materials recycling facilities, vehicles and more, donning the refreshed Bakers brand, ‘Bakers Environmental Solutions’. We can’t wait to bring you along the journey into our next chapter and share even more exciting news with you soon.
