What can I put in my wood skip?
As you *wood* expect 😉 this skip is for the sole use of wood. This could include cabinets, tables, chairs, desks. as long as its made from wood, it can go in here!
What can’t go in my wood skip?
In our wood skips, there are a few bits and bobs that cannot go into our skips.
- Wet Concrete
- Hazardous Waste (Paints, Solvents, Etc.)
- Carpet
- Electrical Items
- Mattresses
- Liquids
- Tires
- Hardcore (Please use our hardcore skip for this!)
- Soil & Bricks (Please use our Soil & Bricks skip for this!)
I completely understand that by reading the list above, there are some vague points such as liquids and electricals, so I’m going to clear them up for you now.
Liquids :
This entails absolutely ALL liquids including water, oil, paint, dye ect. This is because if it drips out of the skip onto the road, the local council won’t be too happy!
Electrical Items:
This means ALL electrical items, anything with a plug or that takes batteries cannot go in the skips. This means you will have to find somewhere else for your old fridge or lamp.
